SHEN Yuan

Dr. Shen Yuan is Vice President of Geely Holding Group and Executive Deputy Director of Zhejiang Green Intelligent Vehicle and Parts Technology Innovation Center

Dr. Shen is an expert in automotive powertrain and has been selected as an overseas expert in China’s “Thousand Talents” program. He previously worked at the US EPA’s National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory and AVL North America Powertrain Engineering Center. He joined Geely in 2010 and has served as deputy chief engineer of Geely Automotive Research Institute, deputy director of Geely Power Research Institute, and general manager of Geely Holding Group Collaborative Innovation Center. He was appointed Vice President of Geely Holding Group in November 2023.

Dr. Shen graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology School of Mechanical Engineering with his master’s degree and received his doctorate in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University in the United States.
