2024 July 14th, Hangzhou, China Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding) announced today that aggregate sales in the second quarter of 2025 across its portfolio automotive brands – Geely Auto, LYNK & CO, Zeekr, Volvo Cars, Polestar, PROTON, Lotus, smart, Radar, LEVC, and Farizon reached 985,105 vehicles, a 29% Year on Year increase.

Among the Group’s Q2 aggregated sales, electrified (EVs, HEV, PHEVs) vehicles sales reached 538,124 units, representing a YoY increase of 65% and representing 55% of the Group sales.

Cumulative sales in the first six months of 2025 reached 1,931,698 units, a YoY increase of 30% with electrified vehicles accounting for 1,001,496 units, a YoY increase of 73% and representing 52% of the Group aggregated total.

Sales by Brand

Geely Auto, the Hong Kong-listed holding company (HK.0175) that includes shareholdings in Zeekr Group (inc Zeekr and Lynk & Co brand), reported its sales in the first half of 2025 reached 1,409,180 units, an approximately 47% YoY increase.

Sales of electrified vehicle reached 725,151 units, an increase of 126% YoY and accounting for 51.4% of the company’s total.

Lynk & Co, the company’s premium brand sold 154,137 units, a 22% YoY increase. The company’s high-end premium electric mobility technology brand, Zeekr sold 90,740 units, a YoY increase of 3%. Based on the strong performance of the company in the first half of 2025, Geely Auto has revised its annual target by approximately 11% from 2.71 million to 3 million units.

Volvo Cars sold 353,780 vehicles globally in the first half of 2025 of which 155,019 were electrified, accounting for 44% of the brand’s total. Thanks mainly to the strong performance of the brand in Europe and Latin America as well as its fully electric EX30 model, electrified vehicle sales for Volvo reached 173,668 units so far in the year, a YoY increase of 27%.

Polestar sold 30,319 fully electric vehicles in the first half of 2025, a YoY increase of 51%. This year saw the entry of the brand into the mature French market and its charging network becoming one of the largest in Europe.

In the commercial vehicle segment, Farizon has taken a leading position as a pioneer of electrified new energy commercial vans and trucks. The brand saw its sales in the first half of 2025 reach 64,443 units, a YoY increase of 55%. Farizon’s newest electric commercial product, the SuperVan entered the Hong Kong market providing service for public transportation purposes and as a green taxi service.
