2025 April 17th, Hangzhou, China – Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding) and the Executive Committee of the 12th World Games officially signed an agreement for Geely to became the official partner of the Chengdu World Games. This is the second time that Geely Holding has become the official partner of a large-scale international multi-sport event after the partnering with the Asian Games including the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022 and the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin in 2025.
After the signing ceremony, Geely Holding announced its World Games strategy under theme of “Boundless Sports, Together with Geely” and delivered service vehicles to the Chengdu World Games Organizing Committee, kicking off its preparations for the Games by providing mobility to support the success of the Games.
The World Games, along with the Olympic Games and the World University Games, are known as the world’s three major multi-sport events and is the highest level international multi-sport sports events outside of the Olympics. The Chengdu World Games is the first World Games held in mainland China. The event has taken “green, sharing, openness, and integrity” as its concept and is an important opportunity for promoting diversity in global sports, cultural integration, and sustainable development.
