2025 February 8th, Hangzhou, China – Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding) announced today that aggregate sales for January 2025 across its automotive brands reached 330,782 vehicles, a 14.8% YoY increase. Among the month’s aggregated sales, electrified (EVs, HEV, PHEVs) vehicles reached 152,315 vehicles, representing a YoY increase of 59.5% and representing 46% of the Group sales.

Unit Sales Details

Geely Auto, the Hong Kong-listed holding company (HK.0175) that includes Lynk & Co and Zeekr, reported its January 2025 sales of 266,737 units, a new record high and an approximately 25% YoY increase. Sales of electrified vehicles reached 121,071 units, an increase of 84% YoY, accounting for over 45% of the company’s total monthly sales. The Geely brand sold 224,718 vehicles, representing a YoY growth of over 30%. The Geely Galaxy series sold 93,545 vehicles, a YoY growth of over 134%. Export sales for the company reached 26,793 units in January, representing a 2% YoY increase.

Lynk & Co, the company’s premium brand, sold 30,077 units in January, an 7% YoY increase with electrified models accounting for 52% of the brand’s sales.

The company’s high-end premium electric mobility technology brand Zeekr delivered 11,942 units, making Zeekr’s global cumulative sales reach more than 430,000 units.

Volvo Cars sold 50,820 vehicles globally in January, with electrified vehicles sales of 22,398 units, up 17% YoY. Among these, the sales volume of pure electric vehicles increased by 5% YoY to 9,705 units, accounting for 19% of the total volume. The global sales volume of plug-in hybrid vehicles reached 12,693 units, with a YoY growth of 28%. The brand continues to accelerate its electrification.
