2024 December 9th, Hangzhou, China – Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding) announced today that aggregate sales for November 2024 across its automotive brands reached 355,021 vehicles, a 20.7% YoY increase. Cumulative sales in the eleven months of 2024 reached 3,006,943 units, a YoY increase of 21% with electrified vehicles accounting for 1,318,044 units, a YoY increase of 52%. Among the month’s aggregated sales, electrified (EVs, HEV, PHEVs) vehicles reached 176,089 vehicles, representing a YoY increase of 60.6% and representing 49.6% of the Group sales. Sales of vehicles in markets outside of China also saw significant growth reaching 1,115,299 units in the first ten months of the year, a YoY increase of 22%.

Unit Sales Details

Geely Auto, the Hong Kong-listed holding company (HK.0175) that includes Lynk & Co and Zeekr, reported November 2024 sales of 250,136 units, an approximately 27% YoY increase. Sales of electrified vehicle reached 122,453 units, a new record high and an increase of 94% YoY, accounting for 48.9% of the company’s total monthly sales. Lynk & Co, the company’s premium brand sold 32,679 units, an 9% YoY increase with electrified models accounting for 61% of the brand’s sales. The company’s high-end premium electric mobility technology brand, Zeekr sold 27,011 units, a YoY increase of 106%. Export sales for the company reached 32,814 units in November, representing a 13% YoY increase. In the eleven months of 2024, the company saw its sales outside of China reach 379,396 units, an increase of 56% YoY.

Volvo Cars sold 66,977 vehicles globally in November a YoY increase of 5%.  Electrified vehicles sales reached 32,108 units, up 40% YoY and accounting for 48% of its brand’s monthly total. The sales increase during the past month was primarily driven by solid performance of its electrified products in Europe and the US. Cumulative sales in the eleven months of 2024 for the brand reached 689 585 units, a 9% YoY increase.

Proton Cars, of which Geely Auto Group controls 49.9% in partnership with DRB-HICOM, recorded October sales of 12,194 units and cumulative sales in the eleven months of 2024 reached 137,751 units, leading Proton to maintain its position in the Malaysian market as the second best-selling brand.
