London EV Company “Magic Taxi Tour”

London EV Company (LEVC) “Magic Taxi Tour” charity event takes place each year when a convoy of licensed London taxis take sick children, suffering from a range of chronic debilitating illnesses and life limiting conditions, on a three-day trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Resort Paris. The event was first launched by LEVC previously called London Taxi Company (LTC) in 1994, but discontinued after a while due to LTC financial troubles. After purchasing LTC in 2013, Geely revived the charity event which has since been running for 5 consecutive years.

On October 6, 2017, 100 London taxis carrying more than 200 children and their families traveled from London to Disneyland in Paris. Traveling with the convoy in a fleet up to three miles were police escorts from the City of London, the French National Gendarmerie, the London National Medical Ambulance and the Automobile Association.
