Our destination was Jiande, Capital of Yanzhou during Ming and Qing Dynasties and, more importantly, famous for its luscious mountainous regions.
It would be our goal to reach the peak. Our reward would be sweeping views of the countryside, with not a high-rise nor motorway in sight.
