Geely Holding Group has officially announced the ‘Geely Common Prosperity Initiative’ and will work with the city of Ningbo to create the Geely Common Prosperity Pilot Zone with the goal of enhancing the prosperity and welfare of employees and their families as part of a sustainable automotive industry ecosystem.
On the eve of Geely’s Employees Appreciation Day, Geely Holding Group unveiled details of its Geely Common Prosperity Initiative which includes a series of measures such as employee stock ownership plan, increased investment in vocational education for employees, childcare access plan, increased family medical insurance, housing and vehicle purchase subsidies, and investment in cultural and sports recreation facilities for employees and family households.

Ningbo is considered a second home city for Geely in China since the Group’s arrival to the city in 1999. Multiple Geely production facilities are located in Ningbo, as well as the Geely Research Institute which was established in 2017. Geely has nearly 40,000 employees involved in the entire automotive industry chain in the city.
