Geely Group Motorsport
Geely Group Motorsport was established by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group in 2018, strategically integrating the racing event of all the brands within the group, whilst operating and participating in major motorsports event domestically and abroad to continuously contribute to the development of motorsport and racing culture in China. The division of Geely Group Motorsport has dual headquarters in both Hangzhou, China and Gothenburg, Sweden.
FIA WTCR
The official racing partner of Geely Group Motorsport is CYAN Racing, which represented Volvo Cars and Polestar in the FIA World Touring Car Championship and won two world titles in 2017. In 2019, LYNK & CO CYAN Racing has set up a team of competitive drivers and participated in the FIA Touring Car World Cup (WTCR) by driving LYNK & CO 03 TCR. In that year, LYNK & CO CYAN Racing crowned world champions, which also claimed the first-ever racing World Titles for a Chinese manufacturer. In 2020, LYNK & CO CYAN Racing consecutively claimed the World Titles for the Team, and Yann Ehrlasher became the youngest champion driver in the history of the race.
TCR Asia
As a part of Customer Racing plan, Geely Group Motorsport carried out a strategic cooperation with Teamwork to form Shell Teamwork LYNK & CO Racing from 2020, participating TCR China Series. Ma Qinghua, the WTCR champion driver, won the TCR China champion title in his first year driving for Shell Teamwork LYNK & CO. In 2021, the first Chinese Champion in the Macau Guia Race Jason Zhang, and former champion of TCR China Sunny Wong join in the team lined up with Ma Qinghua. The team will contest the TCR Asia International Series in 2021, at the same time aiming for more titles including driver, team, and model.
Geely Super Cup
As a one-make touring car racing program, Geely Super Cup (GSC) is hosted by Geely Group Motorsport for the general public. After more than 10 years development, GSC has gradually evolved into a racing series integrated from experience, training to competition for amateur drivers. Participants have a chance to obtain a National Level-B Circuit Racing License by passing the training and selection. With features of professional, easy-entry, experience-oriented, GSC continuously attract racing fans to take part in every year. GSC has hosted over 100 racing events, and nearly 4000 drivers were grown and developed through this program.
In 2021, Geely Super Cup fully upgrades both the sporting system and racing cars in order to deliver the ever better experience, whilst offers three competition paths to encourage participants whoever has passionate for racing.
