- Geely Auto Forward-looking in Intelligent Network:
In 2016, “Hello, Boyue!” opened the precedent of intelligent interconnection of automobiles in China, bringing users into a new era of intelligent transportation. - The Connectivity Between the Vehicle, Cloud and Road:
In Hangzhou Bay area- the Smart City National Demonstration Project in Ningbo, jointly built by Geely Auto and the city government, Geely Auto has realized the RoboTaxi trial operation from the Automotive Research Institute to the ZhongChuang Park. The forward-looking strategic deployment in the field of intelligent network connection has put Geely Auto on the fast track of the development of smart cars and smart cities.
Comprehensive covering 415 acres of closed campus with C – V2X and 5 G communication network, a high precision map is established here. Together with GNSS setting enhancing the base station and the deployment of smart snatched roadside equipment, automotive equipment can realize holographic perception and fusion calculation of road traffic, which completes the vehicle, road connectivity, cloud three end, to realize the speed of 70 km/h collaborative self-driving.
The 5 km of open road including 19 city comprehensive application scenarios, based on the principle of adjust measures to local conditions, combining multiple sensor information fusion technology and computing technology. It can realize real-time and full spatio-temporal perception of all traffic factors, such as dynamic target, road state and traffic state, and provide rich and comprehensive road condition information and decision-making basis for vehicle-road collaborative automatic driving.
Pilot from the angle of the urban infrastructure construction. By applying additional network facilities, the on-board hardware configuration is significantly simplied. Enhancing efficient environmental awareness information and computing resources sharing can effectively solve the problems from the traditional single vehicle intelligence, such limited perception scope, high hardware cost.
